My professional interests include accounting, data analysis, and financial decision support; my teaching and research at the University of Pécs Faculty of Business and Economics provides a great platform for delving deeper into these topics. Accounting, in my opinion, is more than just a set of rules and statements; it is a crystal-clear logical framework that aids in comprehending the numbers, processes, and underlying relationships that underpin corporate operations. I have over a decade of expertise in finance, accounting, and controlling in both the public and business sectors. In my work, I prioritize solutions that extract clear, actionable, and decision-supporting business insights from enormous amounts of data. My research and professional interests are in modern accounting, data gathering, and data processing systems, as well as the financial value of intangible assets, namely data assets and organizational resilience. In addition, I am actively involved in the practical use and development of digital technologies such as Excel, Power BI, and Power Apps. Accounting and data analysis, in my opinion, are not abstract and dull fields, but rather a rational, interesting, and business-value-creating set of procedures and tools.. In my free time, I have been passionate about sports photography since childhood; currently, through my daughter’s sporting activities, I primarily capture the world of rhythmic gymnastics.
